Misdiagnosis and medicated for 10 years

Hello. Im a female aged 32. 10 years ago i was diagnosed with hypothyroidism.i had blood tests every couple of months and had my medication increased or decreased a couple of times. And been on medication 10 years. But recently my gp retired so i saw a different gp and she said i dont have a thyroid problem. Even tho ten years of blood tests to prove i have. And also it runs in my family. So i asked a different dr for second opinion and she said im to stop taking thyroid medication. I wasnt happy aboit it. So they day stop it which has made me ill. And then monday the chemist told me that my drs had said i meed to be taking medication for it. Im confused. Should i claim. Will i still get to see a dr while i claim and if i claim will they delve into everything. I have mental health problems and a lot of it is private between me and my dr and not even my partner. Im stuck i dont no what to do. Any advice welcome
