You can make a claim against the insurance company of the car driver. You will
say that he should have seen you. You can claim for your broken arm and your loss of
earnings. His insurance will also have to pay your legal costs if you win your case.
How much you will get depends on how bad the injury was but it could be a few
thousand pounds AND your loss of earnings. You should contact a solicitor about
making a claim.

It should not have to cost you anything.  Many solicitors operate a 'No Win, No Fee' policy, so you don't get charged, even if you lose the case.  There is also a scheme operated by the Motor Insurers Bureau (MIB) for claiming against uninsured drivers.  Contact a specialist personal injury solicitor for more information.

No win no fee, is the way to go if you don't have any money or you are scared that you might loose, resulting in a large legal bill. In general the person behind the wheel is nearly always guilty due to it being them driving a vehicle that has the potential to kill somebody.

If you didnt get the name of the driver or he is uninsured you have a chance of claiming through the Motor Insurers Bureau which has a pool of dosh put up by all the insurers , its a bit like the criminal compensation board except its for civilian accidents.

Hello Kinah

Yes, you can claim compensation. A compensation claim is liable to 3 years from the date of the accident. You should visit a personal injury solicitor. They are the right person who can help you to calculate the worth of compensation you will get.
