You may have a claim against the insurers of the car driver for your injuries, loss of earnings and other financial losses. Solicitors can investigate the claim by obtaining information from the police about how the accident happened. Solicitors will also advise you on what you can claim and what evidence you will need. You should consult a solicitor about making a claim.

A good solicitor would be able to determine the amount of compensation you can claim based on the facts of your case.  They would be able to advise you on the documents you should arrange.

If it was not due to your mistake then you can claim for compensation. A solicitor can help you to determine the correct value of your compensation. You need to gather proof like eyewitness of the accident, contact details of the party at fault and medical documents plus expenses born by you during that period, loss of payment etc. Yes, it would be better if you get a solicitor. They know who to proceed and they can help you to get your compensation asap.
