am i eligible to claim for my work injury

I work as a hug driver for an employment agency and was told to go and do a shift at a company that i had worked at previously, during my working day i was contacted by the company and given instructions to go to a private address for a collection of goods. When i arrived at the customers house i spoke to the occupants in regards to what items i was collecting i was told that the item were in the front garden on a pallet when i looked there was 6 car wheels on a pallet. I was unable to use the pallet/pump truck I was given at the start of the day by the employer which was the back of my wagon. I assessed the situation and came to the conclusion that the only way I could load these items into my wagon was to handball them. I removed the wheels one by one, the first wheel was ok no trouble to move it when I picked the 2nd wheel up it slipped out of my hand and dropped to the floor but as it fell it tilted onto it's side and bounced back up and hit my little finger. I had to Carryon working and as the time past my little finger started to hurt and after 20 min i was unable to bend it. When i finished work that day i told my boss at the agency that i had to go and get my finger looked at and i would be unable for work the next day i also told the staff in the office where i had worked that day that i think i have either dislocated or broken my little finger and i was going to go get it looked at at my local hospital a & e which they seemed quite uninterested at so I went home
. I had hardly any pain in my finger so  left it as is the next morning I woke up and my finger had nearly doubled in width (very swollen) I went to hospital and had it X rayed I was told there is a cracking in my finger they strapped it up and off I went I went back the next day for the fracture clinic and the Dr said I should carry on as normal. I told my agency I was able to work but with restrictions on my lifting I was given work for the following Monday. On the monday I went to my arranged place of work and was told that I had several deliveries with only 1 delivery having to handball the item off my wagon, whilst doing my vehicle checks I found that the tail lift was not working and informed the employer that it didn't work and I was unable to the majority of deliveries due to not being able to lift heavy items, they told me that I should not be in work with a broken finger, I was contacted by the agency for info on why the company want an extra person to ride a long with me, I explained the situation to them and was told to carry on and do as much as I can which I did. Later that day I got a message from my agency that the work for the next day has been covered by another driver and they would contact me with a more suitable job. That was 2 weeks ago and I have not had work since then, I have been informed by my agency that I cannot have work until my finger has repaired it self mainly for the fact that my driving job is multidrop work and it involves a lot of lifting also some companies insurance won't cover me due to having a broken finger.

Do I have a claim if so against who (the company I was contracted out for or the customer I collected the wheels from) I need some help because I work for an agency I only get paid if I work and I haven't worked now for 2 weeks and I have bills due to be paid,

Should that company of given me an induction the first time I worked there giving me information on safe working practices etc. Also should I of been issued with safety equipment ie gloves.

Please any information would be greatly appreciated.

Apart from your medical bills, you'll need to count upon your job loss while determining your claim account
