Daughter injury

Hi,  looking for some advice.  My daughter was at an afterschool care provision this week and while there she has had a pillow fight with an adult who was caring for her.  As part of this her front adult tooth has been chipped.  She has been to the dentist today for this and had it filled, however was advised that the life on these repairs is only 4-5 years so she is looking at repair work in this tooth for the rest of her life (she is currently 11) .  I am concerned that this will add up during her life and result in the end to cost her quite a bit in repair and appointments.
How can I go about reaching out to the care provisions   insurer about a claim on this.  Do I need to use a claim assessor or solicitor or can I do this myself?
