Don't get closer to the statute of limitations for filing your claim. You might need more time to arrange the details pertaining to your claim.

The SOL shows a 3 year period for filing PI claims. Beyond this period the case turns statute-barred or time-barred.

You can claim in between 3 years of your negligence. There is a time limit in every claim process.

For all claims the time limit to make an accident claim is 3 years from the date the accident happened or when you became aware of your injuries. Some injuries have delayed symptoms for conditions or diseases which may not be visible or readily visible at the time of the accident. Therefore the date of accident can be as of when the symptoms began or the medical diagnosis date.

Hi there, you have three years from the accident date or from the date of knowledge of the injury caused by the accident. It is not three years to start your claim but three years in which to issue legal proceedings to protect your right to compensation. So it is strongly advised not to leave commencing a claim to the 2-3 year because it takes time to get a case ready to a point where proceedings can be issued. Hope this helps. Email me if you need advice, Andrew

It is not too late to make a claim for compensation because you have 3 years to start your claim but you should now make your claim if you want to because it takes time to get the evidence.
