hi there just an update, after a firm response letter from my appointed solicitor, the person has dropped his persuit of a false claim, so although i am out of pocket paying for his damage, i will not lose my no claims bonus and will save in the long run in insurance. i shall never in the future forget or neglect to have protective no claims either. id like to say thanks but nobody seems to reply to any of the topics anyway.

hi i was recently involved in a bump on a roundabout, which i feel wasnt my fault even though my company have told me it is. anyway the reason i am posting is because the other person is claiming for a leg injury which i feel is fraudulent as i hit the passenger side of the vehicle at no more than 2 mph. i have told my insurance company i am willing to pay for the costs to fix his car but no way am i going to let him claim, because appart from anything else i will lose my no claims bonus.
any help would be very grateful as i am booked in to see a solictor, but not for 3 weeks. thanks
