fall at a B&Q store

Hello
Please can you advise
my uncle who is 84 went into a B&Q STORE IN SWANSEA  on Jan, 24 2009 and fell over
STORE SHELVING that was left on the floor
He has cuts to his lower leg and bruising  he had to go to his local surgery to receive attention
A member of staff came but he received NO HELP AT ALL FROM THEM
He was still on the floor when they came they just asked if he was ok then walk away from my uncle
He had to sit there for around 10 minutes he was afraid in case he broke something
Than my auntie had to lift him of the floor by herself

What I?m annoyed  at
NO CARE WAS GIVEN BY ANY MEMBER OF STAFF
OR AT LEAST AN OFFER OF A CHAIR

My uncle  returned to the store
They didn?t seem bothered that he had hurt him self or how is was feeling
My uncle is still in shock and a frail man at that
My uncle went back to the store on the 26th has signed some form regarding the accident
And has since had to go three times  to his local surgery  new dressing on his wound
And has to go again next week
I have sent emails to customer  service adviser  who has been helpful
But staff at the B&Q store have told lie after lie regarding the fall
What would you advise please

Thank you paul

Hello

B&Q should of put this in the accident book. A lot depends what they have said.

Was he alone or did he have a witness to see what happened. B&Q will also have CCTV which may have recorded what happened.

If you need any more advice let us know
